Ingredients required for Aloo ki sabzi
Boiled potatoes 4 (peel and cut into cubes)
Tomatoes 2 chopped 2 paste
(total 4)
Chopped green chillies 2
Oil 4-5 tablespoons
Cumin seeds 1 tsp
Asafoetida (a pinch of hing)
Salt to taste
Redchilli powder 1 tsp
Cumin powder 1 tsp
Coriander powder 2 tsp
Garam masala 1 tsp
Coriander leaves
Warm Water 1 cup or as required
For Pooris
Wheat flour 2 cups
Salt to taste
Water to knead dough
Method of making Aloo ki sabzi
Step 1:- Take oil in a cooker followed by cumin seeds,asafetida,chopped
tomatoes and tomato paste mix well add
salt,cover and cook on medium flame for 3-4 minutes
Step 2:- after 3-4 minutes add redchilli powder,cumin powder,coriander
powder and mix..Cover again and cook for 2-3 minutes
Step 3:- After 2-3 minutes add boiled potatoes green chillies some more
salt and mix
Step 4:- add warm water followed by garam masala now cover and give 2
whistles
Step 5:- When cooker releases pressure naturally garnish with coriander
leaves and aloo sabzi is ready
Method of making Pooris
Step 1:- Take wheat flour and salt in paraat or bowl mix well
Step 2:- Add water and knead a hard dough
Step 3:- When its done cover the dough for 10 minutes and let it rest
Step 4:- After 10 minutes make little balls of the dough and press as
shown in video
Step 5:- roll these balls into pooris and deep fry them in hot oil
Step 6:- Enjoy Hot Pooris with Aloo ki sabzi
