3-4 tablespoons or as required

Method
of making Karele ki sabzi
Step
1:- Scapr the skin of bitter gourd or karela cut them into rounds,deseed them
Step
2:- Take these karelas in a bowl and add around 2 tablespoons of salt and coat
them well now leave them for 15 minutes
Step
3:- After 15 minutes squeeze the water from karela , wash them and keep them
aside
Step
4:- Take mortar add garlic,green chillies and all the dry spices and water except
garam masala and salt,now crush them well and make a paste
Step
5:- Take a pan add oil followed by cumin seeds let them crackle ,then add
sliced onions let them cook till they turn pinkish
Step
6:- Add garlic chilli and spices paste cover and cook for 2 minutes on lower
medium flame
Step
7:- add tomatoes and karela add salt cover and cook for 5 minutes again
Step
8:- add garam masala and mix
Step
9:- sabzi is ready enjoy with simple roti or paratha
