Hey everyone today we are making Sooji Ka Halwa
Sooji
which is also known as Rawa or semolina.This ultimate sweet dish enhance almost
all the occasions.
It is served as bhog Prasad in navratras,kathas etc.So today on
the occasion of navratri(Ashtmi and navmi)
we are making this quick and easy
sooji ka halwa which is made in minutes without any extra efforts and with only
few ingredients available at home.So lets make it
Ingredients Required
Sooji/Rawa/Semolina 1/2 Cup
Sugar 1/2 cup
Ghee (clarified butter) 1/2 cup
Hot Water 3 times of Sooji 1.5 cup
Cardamom Powder 1 Tsp
Mix and chopped Dry fruits
Method of making Sooji Ka Halwa or Sheera
Step 1:- Add 1 tsp of ghee in a pan followed by dry fruits ,roast them for a minute or two on low flame.Once done take them out
Step 2:- Add the remaining ghee in a pan followed by sooji/semolina and keep stirring it till it changes color (make it light or dark brown totally up to you)
Step 3:- As soon as it changes color add sugar and hot water and keep stirring so that it does not form any lumps,now cover it and cook on high flame till the water absorbs
Step 4:- After 2-3 minutes add roasted dry fruits ,cardamom powder mix well and its done
