Learn How to make Bakery Style Coconut Cookies
Today we are making Bakery style coconut cookies which are
soft and chewy from inside but crunchy from outside.These homemade coconut
cookies are delicious and easy to make with only few ingredients which are
easily available at home. You can make them anytime or in any occasion like
Diwali,Eid ,Christmas etc.Store these cookies in an air tight container,they
will last upto 15 days.
Ingredients Required
Butter 50gms
Powdered sugar 50gms
Maida (plain Flour) 60 Gms
Desiccated coconut 40 gms
Milk 3-4 tablesppons (or as required)
Baking soda 1/8 tsp
Method of Making Coconut Cookies
Step 1:- Add sugar and butter in a bowl and whick it with
the help of a hand whisker or electric beater
Step 2:- once it gets smooth add desiccated coconut ,maida
and baking soda ,mix everything lightly with your fingers
Step 3:- Add milk spoon by spoon and combine everything well
.Do not over knead it
Step 4:- Now cover and keep it in refrigerator for 30
minutes to set
Step 5:- After 30 minutes take small portion of the cookie
dough and make balls and press a little (as shown in video)
Step 6:- now coat these balls in dry desiccated coconut and
place it on a plate or cake with aluminum foil
Step 7:- Now place these cookies in Preheated kadhai/Pan/Cooker/Idli cooker and let them
cook for 15 minutes on lower to medium flame
