Today we will learn how to make Mint and Cheese Mathri Or Pudina aur Cheese Mathri 

There are so many kinds of mathri recipes like Masala Mathri,Dhania Mathri, Methi Mathri,Rawa Masala Mathri,Khasta Mathri and the list is unlimited. But today we are making something different with the flavor of mint and the softness of cheese which is everyone's favorite So lets enjoy this holi with this amazing mathris .You can enjoy these crispy mathris with a cup of tea,coffee,serve in front of your guests or just enjoy in holi with a glass full of Thandai

 

 

Ingredients Required

Maida (All Purpose Flour) 120 Gms

Salt to taste or 1 tsp

Crushed black pepper corns 10-12

Carom Seeds (Ajwain) 1/4 tsp

Cumin powder 1/2 tsp

Grated Cheese Cubes 2

Chopped mint leaves 1 cup

Oil for Deep frying

Ghee (Clarified butter) 2 tablespoon

Water as required to knead dough

Method of Making Mint and Cheese Mathris

Step 1:- Take a bowl and add Maida ,Salt,Crushed black pepper corns,cumin powder,ajwain mint and cheese , ghee and mix everything well

Step 2:- Add little water and make a hard dough out of it andd keep it aside for 15 minutes

Step 3:- After 15 minutes knead the dough again for a minute and divind it into two portions 

Step 4:- Now roll it and make it thick like parathas

Step 5:- Now cut this rolling dough into round shapes using cookie cutter or bowl,take out the extra portion and insert fork on each one of them 

Step 6:- Now deep fry these mathris on lower medium flame ,you can fry 8-10 mathris in one batch also it will take around 7-8 minutes to fry one batch.
