Lets make Rajasthan’s famous Moong Dal Halwa Recipe without soaking Dal .Its easy  to make ,take less time and tastes like the same we make while soaking it.


Ingredients Required  Moong Dal Halwa 

Yellow Moong Dal (Washed and dried) 1 Cup
Milk  1 Cup
Water 1 Cup
(Take Milk,Dal and Water with the same measurement)
Sugar 1 Cup  
Ghee (Clarified Butter) 5-6 Tablespoon
Almond Powder (10-12 almonds blended)
Nuts for garnishing (cashews,raisins)
Crushed Cardamom powder 7-8

Method of making Instant Moong Dal Halwa

Step 1:- Take 2-3 Tablespoons Ghee in a pan followed by washed and dried dal 

Step 2:- Keep stirring dal till it changes colour or turns golden brown (medium Flame)

Step 3:- When dal changes colour separate the dal and ghee as shown in video or with the help of sieve

Step 4:- When dal cools down make powder out of it in a blender or mixer

Step 6:- Take 2-3 tablespoons ghee in same pan and add powdered dal and just mix do not roast it

Step 7:- Add milk and water and keep stirring it till it thickens

Step 8:- As soon as the mixture gets thick add a tablespoon of ghee and sugar and mix

Step 9:- Add Cardamom powder and almond powder now mix till the mixture leaves the pan

Step 10:- Garnish with nuts and serve hot
