Tadkedaar Sarson Ka Saag- Dhabha Style Recipe| By RJ Payal’s Kitchen

body' the old adage goes. To remain healthy one is must take a balanced
diet full of proteins, fibre, minerals, carbohydrates and fat. These days, the
prevalence of iron deficiency in young women has been a cause for concern In
India, we are blessed with foods that do not cost much and are very delicious
and rich in iron content. Makke ki roti and Sarson ka saag can be quickly
prepared and is rich in iron and fiber and tastes very good. A recipe of
the same is given below
Ingredients
Required for Sarson Ka Saag
Sarson
(Mustard Leaves) 300gms
Palak
(Spinach Leaves ) 150 Gms
Bathua
100 gms
Tomatoes
3
Green
chillies 3
Ginger
2 inch
Maize
flour (make ka aata) 3 tablespoon
Mustard
oil 4-5 tablespoon
Pinch
of hing (asafetida)
Cumin
seeds 1 tsp
Dry
red chillies 2
Crushed
garlic 7-8
Onion
chopped 1
Redchilli
powder 1 tsp
Salt
Coriander
powder 1.5 tsp
Garam
masala 1 tsp
Water
1 cup
Method
of making Sarson ka Saag
Step
1:- Boil Paalak sarson and bathua with a glass of water in a pressure cooker
till one whistle
Step
2:- When its done..drain the excess water let the veggies cool and then make a
paste and keep them aside
Step
3:- Blend tomatoes ginger and green chillies together to make a paste and keep
them aside
Step
4:- Take a pan and dry roast maize flour for 2 minutes on low flame and keep it
aside
Step
5:- Take a pan add mustard oil make it
hot …low down the flame and add a pinch of hing,cumin seeds and dry red
chillies sauté for 5-10 seconds
Step
6:- add crushed garlic sauté for few seconds
Step
7:- Add chopped onion and cook for 2 minutes or till it turns soft
Step
8:- Add redchilli powder and coriander powder mix
Step
9:- Add tomato ginger and chilli paste followed by salt cover and cook on
medium flame for 3-4 minutes
Step
10:- Now add green veggies paste mix followed by mazie flour and garam masala
mix cover and cook for another 2 minutes

11:- serve with butter or ghee on top with makke di roti
