Gobi Paratha Recipe|Dhaba Style Gobhi Paratha|गोभी का पराठा |By Rj Payal’s Kitchen

 

Parathas are everyone’s favorite and Gobhi/Gobi paratha is one of them.Its the most popular paratha of north India .In this recipe we have tried to make paratha which we usually eat in dhabas which is full of butter ,ghee and some extra filling in it.So lets check out the recipe

Ingredients Required 

Oil 3-4 Tablespoon
A pinch of hing (Asafoetida)
1 Inch grated ginger
Cumin Seeds 1 tsp
Chopped Onions 2
Chopped green chillies 2
Grated Cauliflower (Gobi/Gobhi) 1
Salt
Redchilli Powder 1 Tsp
Cumin Powder 1 Tsp
Mango Powder 1 Tsp
Turmeri powder ½ Tsp
Garam Masala 1 Tsp
Coriander Leaves
Ghee to fry parathas
Wheat Dough (Semi Soft)
Wheat flour to coat paratha




Method of Making Gobhi/Gobi ka Paratha

Step 1:- Take oil in a pan ..Add Hing (Asafoetida) followed by cumin seeds,grated ginger and green chillies cook them for few seconds

Step 2:- Add chopped onions cook them for a minute or till they turn soft

Step 3:- Add grated cauliflower(Gobhi) and mix 

Step 4:- Add salt,Redchilli Powder,Turmeric powder,mango powder,cumin powder and garam masala and mix..Cover and cook for a minute on medium flame

Step 5:- After a minute add coriander leaves and switch off the gas ..Filling is ready

Step 6:- Take small portion of wheat flour dough make a ball and roll it with help of a rolling pin

Step 7:- Spread little ghee and put filling around 2-3 tablespoon

Step 8:- Close it as shown in video and roll it again

Step 9: Transfer this rolled paratha on hot tawa and cook it from both the sides by putting ghee on medium flame

Step 10: Serve it with curd or Raita
