Chinese Gujiya,Noodles Gujiya,Chaumein Gujiya or Chaumeen Gujiya you can
name it anything but once you have it you cannot forget the taste .As
we all know that everyone makes gujiya on festivals weather its holi or
Diwali and we also know that everyone makes a sweeter one with
mawa/khoya and dryfruits but today you will have these gujiyas which are
full of your favorite noodles along with vegetables like
capsicum,carrots etc.So do try these amazing chinese gujiya this Diwali
as a snack instead of those regular gujiyas.
Ingredients required for Chinese Gujiya or Noodles Gujiya
For Dough
Maida (Plain Flour) 2 Cups
Ghee (clarified butter) 2 Tablespoon
Salt to taste or 1 tsp
Water as required to make semi soft dough
For Filling
Boiled Noodles (with a teaspoon of salt)
Boiled Noodles (with a teaspoon of salt)
Oil 3-4 tablespoon
Sliced Onions 2
Sliced Capsicum ½
Chopped carrots 1
Chopped cabbage ½
Salt to taste
Black pepper powder 1 tsp
Soya sauce 1.5 tsp
Venegar 1 tsp
Ketchup 1 tsp
Redchilli paste 1 tsp
Method of making Chinese Gujiya|Noodles Gujiya
For Dough
Step 1:- Take 2 cups maida(plain flour) in a bowl add ghee and salt and
with the help of water make a semi soft dough
Step 2:- cover and Keep it aside for 10-15 minutes
For filling
Step 1:- Take oil in a pan followed by onions sauté for a minute then
add cabbage,carrots and capsicum sauté for another one minute
Step 2:- Add salt,black pepper followed by tomato ketchup and red chilli
paste
Step 3:- Add boiled noodles followed by soya sauce and vinegar mix
properly and switch off the flame
For Gujiyas
Step 1:- Take a small portion of dough and roll it like a poori or
around 5-6 diameters add the noodles filling and with the help of water
give it a gujiya shape as shown in video ( note:- the outer cover
should be thin)
Step 2:- now deep fry these gujiyas on medium flame
Step 3:- Enjoy with tomato ketchup
