ways of making achari pulao but the one which I made is the easiest and
quickest version which tastes like heaven . Vegetable
Achari Pulao is a brilliant twist in bringing out the pickle flavour in
the rice ,Lots of vegetables when cooked with Achar (pickle), taste
extremely good, is nutritious and a healthy option. This rice based
preparation is tangy, highly aromatic and pickle flavored pulao that
most of us can't resist without.
Ingredients required for Achari Pulao
Cooked or left over rice 3 Cups
Oil 3-4 Tablespoon
Cumin Seeds 1 Teaspoon
Black Pepper Corn 4-5
Laung Cloves 3
Sliced Onions 1
Chopped Tomato 1
Chopped Capsicum ½
Boiled Green Peas ½ Cup
Salt
Turmeric Powder ½ Teaspoon
Coriander leaves
Method of Making Achari Pulao
Step 1:- Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds,black pepper corn and
laung cloves
Step 2:- Add sliced onions and sauté for a minute .Do not brown them
Step 3:- Add tomatoes,capsicum and boiled peas sauté for another few
seconds do not over the veggies
Step 4:- Add turmeric powder and salt followed by achaar (pickle) and
mix
Step 5:- Add boiled rice or leftover rice followed by few coriander
leaves
Step 6:- Mix and its done
